PMU is not just about learning how to make a stroke. It’s about understanding WHY, WHERE and WHEN to make it. Slide 1 — Needle Configuration & Skin Type
Which needle should you choose for dry, normal or oily skin? We teach students how needle diameter, taper and configuration can influence implantation, skin trauma, pigment retention and healed results. The goal is not to memorise a needle chart—it is to understand how to make an informed choice for the skin in front of you. Slide 2 — Microblading vs Nano Brows
Neither technique is automatically “better.” The correct choice depends on the client’s skin type, lifestyle, existing brow condition and desired result. Students learn the difference between manual microblading and machine-created nano strokes, including when each technique may or may not be appropriate. Slide 3 — Why Quality PMU Matters
PMU is performed on the face and can remain visible for years. Proper mapping, colour theory, pigment selection, depth control, needle knowledge and technique matter. Great PMU should be about creating results that are balanced, refined and appropriate for the individual client—not simply following trends. Slide 4 — This is the depth we bring into our training.
Our students don’t just watch demonstrations. They learn the science + artistry + decision-making behind PMU, followed by hands-on practice and supervised practical experience.
Training at Haya is personally guided by Nisha Mohuzeen, Founder & Master PMU Artist, with a strong focus on developing confident artists who understand not only HOW to perform PMU, but WHY they are making every technical decision.
Because mastering PMU isn’t about copying someone else’s technique.
It is about learning to read the skin, understand your tools and create results with intention.
